I didn’t used to draw from early and in school didn’t been performing exceptionally at art classes. I began to draw only at age 17 under the guidance of my master Lucia Calinescu. Not much later I had a feeling that this will be for life.
      I have been learning six years before I got accepted to the Fine Art University on sculpture specialty. My first memorable story happened right before I got accepted to the academy. When we stood and waited in front of the classroom where we needed to present our portfolio the University dean Cornel Teodor Durgheu told us: “honor our craft”. That is still ringing in my ears even after almost 20 years. In my studying years I have learned not only sculpture but photography, ikon painting, fresco painting and made my teacher training.
      After finishing my studies, I taught in different schools. For a few years I was a freelance photographer with my own studio equipped in my mother apartment. When three years passed from the university, I have made my first solo exhibition. I was exposing my sculptures and some graphic art. I also had a few art camps, majority being of sculpture. In the present I leave in Budapest, and I am teaching as a freelancer.
      I am still developing and exercising my craft as I did lot of years before mainly in the field of graphics.
